WILL THE LIBERAL CANDIDATE FOR SHELLHARBOUR PLEASE STAND UP?
Member for Shellharbour, Anna Watson MP, has today called on the NSW Liberal Party to announce their candidate for the seat of Shellharbour.
The NSW State election is currently just 43 days away and the Liberal Party candidate for Shellharbour still remains a mystery.
Whilst the Liberal candidate for Wollongong was revealed earlier this week, the Liberal candidates for Keira and Shellharbour are still unknown.
Back in 2015, the Liberal candidates for the seats of Shellharbour, Wollongong, and Keira were announced 113 days out from the election.
Quotes attributable to Anna Watson MP, Member for Shellharbour:
“I’m calling on the NSW Liberals to finally announce their candidate for the seat of Shellharbour.
“By leaving their candidate announcements to the last minute, the Liberal Party is showing us just how little they care about our region.
“The Liberals often ignore our region when it comes to infrastructure and funding, but to not even run a candidate in this election will take their blatant contempt to a whole new level.
“After their disastrous attempts to privatise Shellharbour Hospital and build a prison in West Dapto, perhaps the Liberals are too scared to front a candidate in Shellharbour.”
